Biran Foods

This place is at 43, Great Southern Trunk Road in Pallavaram. We are quite close to the post office, which is a landmark most people know around here. Being on the GST Road means there is a lot of noise and exhaust from the buses and trucks passing by all day. It’s a very busy stretch of road. We handle food products here. The building is just a standard structure, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly storage and a small area where we talk to people. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic jams in Pallavaram. It can be frustrating, but that’s just life on a main road. We keep the floor swept and the lights on. I usually bring my own lunch from home and eat it at the small desk in the back. The post office workers sometimes stop in during their breaks. It’s a practical business. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big sign with flashing lights. It’s just Biran Foods. We work six days a week and take Sundays off to rest. The shelves are mostly filled with bulk items and packaged goods. It stays quite warm inside during the summer months, so we keep the door open to get a bit of a breeze from the street traffic.
