We are situated on the 2nd floor of the Baid Meetha Complex. The address is No.16 on Anna Salai, though some people still use the old number 183. Being in Little Mount means we are right in the thick of Chennai’s traffic and energy. The building is a typical commercial complex with a lot of different businesses sharing the space. Our office is where we handle the engineering side of things, mostly focusing on coordination and project management. The walk up to the second floor is part of the daily routine. Inside, it’s mostly desks, computers, and stacks of technical manuals. It’s not a very quiet place because Anna Salai is always humming right outside the windows. We have some long-time employees who have been with us through many different projects. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. It’s a very functional space meant for working. Sometimes we meet clients here, but usually, our engineers are heading out to visit various sites. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at CAD drawings. Lunch usually means grabbing something from a nearby shop on the main road. It’s a straightforward engineering office. We deal with the daily grind of deadlines and technical requirements just like anyone else in this industry.
