You’ll find Bhai Biriyani Center over at the Chennai Citi Centre on Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai. We are up on the 4th floor, at units 10 and 11. Being in a mall is different from being on a regular street. It’s always air-conditioned, which is a relief from the Mylapore heat outside. We spend our days managing the rush. Biriyani is serious business in this city, and we take our work seriously, even if we don't act like a big corporate entity. The kitchen is the heart of the place. It’s loud, it’s hot, and it’s always busy. Our staff has been with us for a long time. We don't have any polished scripts for how we talk to people. We just serve the food and make sure the place is clean. The office part of the business is also right there, tucked in the back. It’s a bit cramped with all the ledgers and inventory lists. Sometimes the mall gets really crowded on weekends, and we’re all hands on deck. It’s a lot of work, but we enjoy the buzz. We aren't trying to be the fanciest place in the food court. We just want to do our thing and keep our customers happy. It’s a practical, local operation right in the middle of a busy shopping hub. We keep it simple and focus on the food, which is how it should be.
