Beyondtechit Consulting Pvt Ltd is based at 241 KH Road right in the middle of Chennai. It is a very busy street and there is constant noise from the buses and bikes honking outside. Our office is in an older building that has a lot of character even if the lift is a bit moody and sometimes stops between floors. We have a decent amount of space inside but it is mostly filled with desks and stacks of paper. Because we are so central it is easy for people to find us but the traffic on KH Road can be a nightmare during rush hour. We have a small pantry where we make tea several times a day because that is what keeps us going. The walls are painted a plain white and we have some old calendars hanging up that haven't been changed in months. We are a small team and everyone knows what they are supposed to do so we don't need a lot of supervision or meetings. It is a practical way to work. We deal with a lot of different people throughout the week and it can get a bit tiring by Friday afternoon. We just keep moving forward and doing the best we can with the resources we have available in this cramped but functional city office.
