Barry Wehmiller International

The office for Barry Wehmiller International is located in Medavakkam, Chennai. Specifically, we are at F-1 in the D Block of Munusamy Nagar. If you know the area, it is near the V Venkatesh spot on 17/18. Medavakkam has changed a lot lately, with more traffic and new buildings popping up everywhere. Our office is in a residential-feeling neighborhood, so it is a bit quieter than being right on the main highway. It is a pretty standard Chennai setup. We have the usual fans and air conditioning units humming all day to keep the heat at bay. The humidity can be really tough, so the AC is a must. The office is split into sections, but it is not very large. We mostly do technical work and consulting stuff here. There isn't much to see in terms of decor—just some whiteboards with drawings on them and a lot of monitors. Most of the staff takes the bus or rides scooters to get here. Parking is a bit tight on the street sometimes. We do not have a cafeteria, so most people bring their lunch in tiffin boxes and eat together at the big table in the back. It is a very straightforward place to work. No one wears suits or anything like that; we just keep it casual. We focus on the projects and try to get home before the evening traffic gets too crazy. It is just a normal engineering office in the suburbs.
