Art Glass Edge

At Art Glass Edge, we spend our time working with glass in all its forms. Our shop is at No. 245 Sydenhams Road in the Periamet area. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite Gate No. 2 of the Nehru Indoor Stadium. That is in the Ayanavaram part of town. The stadium is a huge landmark, so when there is an event or a game, the whole street gets blocked up with people and cars. It makes our work a bit interesting, to say the least. The shop itself is full of glass sheets, some leaning against the walls and others on the cutting tables. There is always a bit of glass dust in the air, and we have to be careful where we step. It is not a place where you would want to walk around barefoot. We do not have a fancy showroom. It is mostly just a workshop where the focus is on the edges and the finish of the glass. The sound of the glass cutter is the main soundtrack to our day. Sydenhams Road is old and has a lot of history, and we feel like we fit right in with the other trades around here. We have a small area where we talk to people about what they need, but most of the space is taken up by the materials. It is a gritty, practical place at No. 245. We just do the work and try to get the pieces out the door without any cracks or chips.
