Our office is located at New No 19 on Kathiravan Street in Sarathy Nagar. This is the 5th Street Extension in Velachery, Chennai. A good landmark to look for is the Vijayanagar Bus Terminus, which is very close by and makes it easy for people traveling from outside the city to find us. Asiapower Overseas Employment Services is where we handle a lot of people looking to go abroad for work. Because of that, the office can get quite crowded in the mornings with people bringing in their passports and looking for updates on their applications. It is a busy environment with phones ringing and people waiting their turn in the lobby. The building is functional and tucked away slightly from the main noise of the bus stand, but you can still hear the city moving outside. We have been doing this for a long time, so the walls have various notices about different job openings. It’s not a polished corporate lobby; it’s a place where real work happens and people are coming in to see about their futures abroad. We spend a lot of time on the phone with embassies or companies overseas. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking details over and over again. We just keep our heads down and try to get the files processed as fast as the system allows. We usually wrap up late in the evening.
