Ashwin Trading

Ashwin Trading is tucked away in Anna Nagar at Ag5 on 4th Street, right near 9th Avenue. This part of Chennai is actually quite nice, with some trees along the road and a bit more breathing room than the city center. Our office is a simple setup on the ground floor. We do a lot of trading, so there is always a cycle of goods coming in and going out. It is mostly a lot of phone calls and checking on shipping statuses. We have a couple of desks that are usually covered in ledger books and old receipts. The air conditioner is our best friend here because the Chennai heat doesn't play around. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing cricket in the street outside, and you can hear the ball hitting the ground while we are trying to finalize a deal. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just a small one near the door so people know they have the right place. Most of our clients have been with us for years, so they don't care about a polished look. They just want to know we are here and that the work is getting done. We keep some extra chairs for when people stop by for a chat, but it’s mostly just us keeping the business moving along day by day.
