Art Decor

Our shop is located at number 11 on C P Ramaswamy Road in Alwarpet. It is quite easy to spot since we are near Apollo Hospital. This part of Chennai is always moving, and we have been part of the neighborhood for a while. We call ourselves Art Decor, but mostly we are just folks who enjoy helping people pick out stuff to make their homes look a bit nicer. The office isn't too large, but it's full of different things we've collected over time. We spend a lot of our day chatting with people who live nearby or are just passing through the Alwarpet area. Sometimes it gets quite loud with the traffic from the main road, but we've gotten used to it. We don't have a big corporate structure here; it’s just a handful of us doing the work. We look at designs, talk about what might look good in a living room, and try to help people stay within their budgets. It is practical work and we try to keep things grounded. There are no high-pressure sales here. We just show you what we have and give our thoughts if you ask for them. Usually, we are busy with local projects, and that keeps us pretty grounded in the community. It’s a nice way to spend the day, working with local families and seeing their houses turn into homes over time here in 600018.
