Aravindha Medical Innovations is up on the 6th floor of Block 1 at 110/1 in Nerkundram. It’s a bit of a trek up there, but the view of the surrounding area is okay. We’re more of a behind-the-scenes kind of place. We don’t really see patients in the traditional way you might expect. Instead, we spend a lot of time looking at equipment and thinking about how to make things work better. The office is usually full of boxes and prototypes that we’re testing out. It’s not the neatest place you’ll ever see. There are cables and papers all over the desks. We’re a small group, just a few people who like to tinker with medical stuff. Sometimes we stay late because a project is almost finished. The elevators in the building can be slow, so we end up waiting around a lot. We don’t have a big marketing department or a fancy lobby with a waterfall. It’s just a workspace where we try to figure out practical solutions for medical problems. Most people in Nerkundram probably don’t even know we’re up here. We keep to ourselves mostly. It’s quiet work, but it keeps us busy. We just show up, drink some tea, and get to work on whatever is on the bench that day. It’s a pretty simple way to spend a workday in a tall building.
