Aravindan Arts

Aravindan Arts is located over in the New Housing Board area, right at 'C' Block. Being near the Harbour means there is always something going on nearby with the ships and the workers. I started this little art spot at number 7 quite some time back. It is just a modest place where we get our hands dirty with work every single day. The housing board buildings all look pretty similar, so you have to look for our sign to find us. We do various bits of artistic work and painting for whoever needs it. It’s not a huge studio by any means, just enough space for us to move around and get things finished. Most of our neighbors are regular families living in the block. Sometimes the sea breeze from the harbour makes the paint dry a bit differently than it should, but we’re used to it by now. I’ve lived around this part of the city for most of my life. People stop by to ask for small jobs or just to see what we are working on currently. It gets really cramped in here when we have a few projects going at once. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that, so if I'm busy with a brush, you might have to wait a minute before I can talk. That is just how it is here. It’s a local business, through and through. We try to keep things honest. No big corporate stuff here. Just me and a couple of others trying to make a living in 'C' Block.
