Applied Engineering Systems

Applied Engineering Systems is tucked away at No. 1, Second Street in Jagadambal Colony. Being in Royapettah, we are close to the heart of things, but the colony itself is a bit quieter than the main roads. It’s a decent place to work. Our office is the first one on the second street, so it’s easy to point out to people who are visiting. We don’t have a big glass front or a fancy lobby. It’s more like a converted house or a simple commercial space. Inside, there are desks, computers, and a lot of technical drawings lying around. We spend a lot of time looking at those drawings and figuring out how things fit together. It’s not the kind of place where people wear ties. We’re more comfortable in plain shirts and just getting our hands on the projects. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit during lunch to catch a breeze. The neighbors are a mix of homes and other small businesses. We’ve been here long enough that we know the guys at the corner shop pretty well. There’s no corporate mission statement hanging in the entryway. We just try to do our engineering work without making too much of a fuss. It’s just us at number 1, doing our best to get the systems right and keeping the paperwork in order every day.
