You can find Annai Kamatchi Traders right on GST Road in Chrompet. It is a very busy stretch of road and there is always noise from the traffic and the people passing by. We are more of a trading setup, so our space is usually filled with stacks of products and various boxes. It is not like a fancy showroom you see in the malls; it is more of a practical store where things are piled up according to what arrived last. We deal with various items and supplies that people in the local area need for their daily work. My day usually involves checking the stock, talking to suppliers on the phone, and helping people who walk in looking for something specific. The floor is concrete and can get quite dusty with all the loading and unloading of goods. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the ledger and the phone. It is a family-style environment, and we have known many of our customers for many years now. They stop by not just to buy things but sometimes just to say hello while they are out in Chrompet. We don't have a website or any of that fancy modern stuff. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the evening. It is a simple life of buying and selling. We try to keep things organized but on a busy day, it can get a bit chaotic with boxes everywhere.
