Annai Engineering

We are located at Number 9 in Vigneswaranagar, which is part of the Serapanchery area near Padapai. It’s a bit of a drive out to Sriperumpudur, but that’s where all the industrial growth is happening these days. Annai Engineering started out small and we’ve stayed pretty grounded ever since. Our workshop is a simple building where we do mostly metal work and basic engineering tasks. The air is often thick with the smell of iron and cutting oil. It’s not the most comfortable environment during the hot months, but we have fans running to keep things moving. We don't have a marketing team or a sales department; we just talk to people who come by or call us up. Most of our work comes from word of mouth in the local area. The guys working here know their way around the lathes and drills without needing much instruction. We keep a lot of our supplies stacked in the corner, sometimes it gets a bit messy. It’s just how a working shop looks. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or the weather. It’s a quiet life in a way, despite the noise of the machines. We just want to get the jobs done and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s not a complicated operation we run here.
