We have been set up here at 203 Kilpauk Garden Road for quite a few years now. It is a pretty busy spot, especially in the mornings when the traffic starts picking up right outside our front window. Most days we are just in the back getting things ready before the sun gets too high and the heat really starts. The kitchen area can get pretty warm, but I guess that is just how it goes when you are working with food all day long. We started this whole thing because we needed something to do and we already knew how to cook, so it just made sense at the time. There is not much fancy about the place if I am being honest. We have the same old counters and the equipment we have used forever. Sometimes the delivery drivers have a hard time finding the exact gate because the road gets so crowded with bikes and cars, but they usually figure it out eventually. We see the same neighbors walking by every single day. Some stop in to say hello, while others are just rushing to get to work. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork really piles up on the small desk in the corner. It is just a small team of us here. We don’t spend time on the computer or having big meetings. We just show up and do the work. It is quiet in the evenings after we lock up.
