Anand Food Center

Anand Food Center is located right near the bridge in Kodampakkam. If you live around here you have probably walked past us a dozen times. We are at number 41 and it is a pretty straightforward setup. We do a lot of different food items depending on what people are asking for lately. The mornings usually start early with us setting up the stove and getting the ingredients organized. It gets pretty loud with the traffic coming off the bridge but we are used to the noise by now. We are not a big fancy restaurant with waiters in suits. It is more of a place where you get your food and a quick chat. We do our own washing and prep work because that is how we keep things running. Some days are better than others but we keep showing up. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just put out a sign and hope people like what we are cooking. It is hard work being on your feet all day in the heat but it is what we know how to do. The neighborhood has changed a bit over the years but we are still here in the same spot. We try to keep the prices fair so everyone can afford a meal. That is basically us in a nutshell. Just a local food center trying to keep the locals fed and happy every single day. It is not much more complicated than that.
