We operate out of Sakthi Apartments, specifically Flat No 7 at number 40. This is in Rameswaram, which is a place many people know for different reasons, but for us, it’s just where we work. Amey Worldwide International Services Pvt Ltd has been here for a bit now. It’s an apartment-style office, so it feels more like a house than a stiff corporate building. We like that. It’s quieter than a main street office. There are about six of us usually. We handle international services, mostly through emails and calls. Being in Tamil Nadu, the weather is usually warm, and the breeze comes through the windows when they're open. The pincode is 600 017. We don't have a big neon sign outside. You have to know which gate to come through or you'll get lost. It's a residential area mostly, so we try not to be too loud. The kitchen area is where most of the actual talking happens over coffee. We have some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. Every now and then, the power goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back. It's part of the routine. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get through our list of things to do. It’s a simple setup. We know the security guard by name. It’s homey. Sometimes we walk down to the beach after we finish our work just to clear our heads before going home.
