Our little office for Ambe Consultancy is tucked away at Number 7 on Thalaiyari Street. If you know West Mambalam, you know how these narrow streets can get, but it’s a good spot for us to work from. We’ve been based here in Chennai 33 for a while now. It’s a bit of an old-school neighborhood, which we actually prefer over the newer parts of the city. The office isn't anything you'd call modern or sleek, but it serves us well for the kind of consultancy work we do. We mostly focus on helping out the people who come in with questions about their paperwork or whatever they have going on at the moment. Usually, the flow of people is quite steady throughout the day. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone is usually there to help you out. We take our time with things because we don't like rushing and making silly mistakes. Sometimes we sit and have some tea while talking through what needs to be done next. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, but we do keep our focus on the tasks at hand. Most of our clients are locals who live nearby or found out about us from a neighbor. We like keeping it small and personal like that. Being in West Mambalam makes it easy for people to find us once they know the landmark. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
