Aluminium Trading Company

Our shop is at 23, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, right in the Arumbakkam area. It’s a very busy road, so there’s always noise from the traffic outside. We mostly deal with trading aluminum, which means we spend a lot of time moving inventory in and out. The building isn't new, but it’s sturdy enough for the heavy loads we handle. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by now. It’s a simple operation. We buy stock and we sell it. There’s no big secret to how we work. The floor is usually covered in dust from the road and the metal, but we sweep it when we can. We don't have a website that’s updated every day or a fancy logo on our shirts. Usually, we're just wearing whatever is comfortable for moving metal around. Arumbakkam is a good spot for us because people can find us easily on the main road. Sometimes it gets really hot in the afternoons, and we just have to slow down a bit. We don’t have an office with air conditioning in every corner, just a few fans that do their best. We’ve stayed in this location because it’s where our customers expect to find us. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We keep our piles of aluminum organized so we know exactly what we have when someone asks. It's not a complicated life, but it keeps us busy from morning till the evening.
