Our office is located at No. 12, Venngeeswarar Nagar, on the 1st Cross Street in Vadapalani. It’s a fairly quiet street compared to the main roads nearby, which is nice. The building is a regular house that has been turned into an office space. It has got that lived-in feel, with some old furniture and files stacked up in the corners. We handle a lot of the paperwork and coordination for the ferrous industry from here. It is not as loud as the actual foundries, but it is still busy in its own way. Phones are always ringing, and someone is usually talking about tonnages or delivery schedules. We have got a small team here, and we all know each other’s business. There isn’t much room for corporate secrets in a place this size. We go out for lunch at the local places around Vadapalani. Sometimes we walk over to the temple area if we have a bit more time. The parking can be a bit of a nightmare on this narrow street, so we mostly try to arrive early. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a bunch of awards on the wall. It is just a place where we come to work every morning. We have been here for a while, and the neighbors are used to us. It is a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We just keep things moving along as best as we can.
