Air Deccan

We are based out of Giriagar in the Ernavoor area of Chennai. The address is a bit tucked away, specifically at Har1 Hara Suthan R 07, which might be hard to find if you aren't from around here. Being in Chennai, it's always humid, and we spend our time managing the details for Air Deccan in this part of town. It’s a busy little office with papers everywhere and the sound of the ceiling fan constantly humming. We deal with a lot of people coming in to ask about flights or checking on their bookings. It’s not always easy because systems can be slow and people are often in a rush. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the desk gets cluttered when it's peak season. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we see a lot of the same faces. It feels more like a community spot than a big airline hub. We don't have a lot of staff, so everyone does a bit of everything. One minute you're on the phone and the next you're helping someone with their paperwork. It's just how we run things here at the Chennai branch. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the local streets and the people who live nearby. It’s practical work and keeps us on our toes every day. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out and carry on.
