We are based out of Sashtri Nagar in Adyar, which is a pretty good spot for getting around Chennai. Being in the catering business means our days start way before the sun is even up. We have to get to the markets to find the best vegetables and spices before everything is picked over. Our kitchen is always humming with the sound of knives and large pots boiling on the stoves. It gets really hot in there, especially when we are preparing for a big wedding or a party. We do all sorts of food, but mostly local stuff that people in the neighborhood like. There are always people coming in and out, delivery guys picking up packets, and staff trying to organize the serving trays. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team; people usually just hear about us from their neighbors or friends who ate our food at an event. We take pride in the fact that our food tastes like it was made at home, even if we're making it for hundreds of people. Sometimes things get hectic and we’re running behind, but we always make sure the food gets to the table on time. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and long hours on our feet, but seeing people enjoy a good meal makes it worth the effort. We just keep cooking and trying to do right by our customers in the neighborhood.
