You can find our office on the 4th floor at 11 Lattice Bridge Road in Adyar. This is one of the locations for Alchymars Icm Sm Pvt. Ltd., and being on the 4th floor gives us a bit of a view of the busy street below. We handle a lot of the administrative and management tasks from this space. It is a bit cramped because we have a lot of filing cabinets along the walls. We have talked about moving everything to a digital system, but having the paper records feels more reliable to us for now. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is lucky because it can get quite stuffy during the afternoons. Our staff arrives around nine, and we usually stay until all the day's tasks are finished. There is a lot of communication with our other sites, so the phones are ringing quite often. The desks are pushed close together, which makes it easy to talk to each other without having to get up. We don't have any big boardrooms for meetings; we just discuss things across the room. It is a very direct and honest way to work. We deal with pharmaceutical documents and regulatory paperwork every day. It might not be the most exciting job for everyone, but it is necessary work that keeps the business running. We are just a normal office in a busy part of Chennai.
