Admin Co Ordinator

Our workplace is in Chennai, specifically at Rajeswari, number 44 on VSM Garden Street in Jafferkanpet. It’s a typical Chennai street with its own rhythm. We go by the title Admin Co Ordinator here. Most of our day is spent on the phone or responding to various requests that come in from different departments. It’s a coordination job, plain and simple. We don't have any fancy mission or corporate goals that we talk about. We just try to make sure things happen when they are supposed to. The building, Rajeswari, is a familiar spot in the neighborhood. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten to know the regular delivery people and the folks who work in the nearby shops. Jafferkanpet can get quite busy, especially during the monsoon season when the roads get a bit flooded. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The office is filled with the usual stuff—desks, a few old computers, and stacks of folders. It’s not a showroom; it’s a place where work gets done. We aren't trying to impress anyone with marketing speak. We just speak our minds and handle the admin side of things. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy, but we don't mind. It’s just how things are. We like the routine and the fact that we have a steady place to come to every morning in this part of Chennai. It’s a 600 083 postcode and we feel quite at home here. The coffee here is strong, which helps us stay alert.
