S. S. Engineering Services

S. S. Engineering Services is based out of a workshop at No. 6 6Th Cross Street in LH Nagar, Adambakkam. The place is basically a garage full of metal lathes, welding equipment, and bits of machinery that we are working on. There is always a layer of fine metal dust on everything and the smell of machine oil is pretty strong. We take on mechanical repairs, custom fabrication, and various engineering odd jobs that come our way from the local area. Our hands are usually greasy by ten in the morning and they stay that way until we close up. The 2D Layout in Adambakkam is a quiet enough spot, but our shop adds a bit of noise when the grinders are running. We don't use any fancy computer systems for our work, just old-fashioned measurements and a lot of manual labor. Sometimes a job comes in that is really tricky and we have to sit around and scratch our heads for a while before we figure it out. It is just a small group of us who know how to work with steel and iron. We don't wear suits or have meetings in boardrooms. We just meet around the workbench and talk about how to fix whatever broke. The shop can get a bit cluttered with scrap metal, but we know where everything is. People in the neighborhood know us as the place to go when something mechanical needs fixing or making from scratch.
