Accel It Academy

Accel It Academy is located right on Montieth Road in Egmore, specifically on the second floor of the Taas Mahal building at number 10. It’s an old building, but it works for what we do here. Every morning, we climb those stairs and get the systems ready for the day. Egmore is always moving, so there is a lot of noise from the street, but once you are inside the lab, things get a bit quieter. Most of the people who come here are just trying to learn a new skill to get a better job or finish a project. We don't have fancy furniture or anything like that. It’s just rows of computers and people focusing on their screens. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like. It’s a practical place. We’ve been here for a while now, and we know the tea shop downstairs pretty well. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just us and the students trying to figure out coding and software stuff. The rain sometimes leaks a bit near the window, but we put a bucket there and keep going. It is what it is. We just focus on getting the lessons done and helping whoever walks through the door. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor; we just want the computers to stay running for the classes.
