Aasai Foods

You can find us at 1/24 Koil Street. It’s a busy little corner of Periyakuppam, especially on temple days when the street fills up with people and bikes. Aasai Foods operates from this small building that we’ve used for quite some time. It's not a modern glass building; it's more of an old-school structure with thick walls that keep things relatively cool in the heat. We spend a lot of our time here just getting things ready. There is usually a lot of activity in the back area where we handle the food stuff. The smell of whatever we are making usually drifts out into the street, which I guess lets everyone know we are working. We have a few tables and some old shelves that have seen better days. It isn’t perfect, and the floor has a few cracks, but it’s our space. We know the neighbors pretty well by now. The tea stall guy across the road knows exactly how we like our drinks. Sometimes it gets loud outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on what’s in front of us. It’s a bit cramped when we get a big delivery, but we make it work by stacking things high. We’ve been at this address for a while and don't see ourselves moving anywhere else anytime soon. It’s just us, Aasai Foods, doing our thing on Koil Street every day. It's nothing fancy, just work.
