3I Medical Technologies Private Limited

We are up on the 11th floor of the Bascon Futura building in T. Nagar. The address is technically New No 10/2, on Venkatanarayana Road. Being in Chennai, the traffic outside is always a bit much, but it’s quiet once you get up to our floor. 3I Medical Technologies is what it says on the door. We spend our days working on various medical tech projects and research. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of wires running everywhere. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the tops of trees. It isn’t a huge office, but it’s enough for the team we have. We drink a lot of tea and coffee to keep going during the long afternoons. Sometimes the elevators take forever, which is a bit of a nuisance when we’re in a hurry for a meeting. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy presentations or sales pitches. Most of our time is spent looking at data or fixing things that aren't working right on the screens. The staff here are mostly engineers and tech people who live around the city. We catch the bus or the metro to get to work every morning. It’s a pretty standard professional environment, but without the corporate stuffiness. We have stacks of boxes in the corner from the last shipment of equipment. It’s a bit cluttered, but we manage. We just focus on getting the technology part of healthcare right and keeping things functional for the users.
