Maha Vidhyalaya Nursery And Primary School

We are located in Guduvanchery, specifically in Govinda Raja Puram on Als Aviniuu. This is a primary and nursery school, so we deal with the little ones mostly. It gets very loud in the mornings when the parents are dropping them off and the kids are all talking at once. The kids are small, so they need a lot of looking after and individual attention. We have a few rooms set up for the different age groups. It’s a simple setup. We have toys and books and little benches for them. The building is in a residential-looking area, so it’s not too busy with big trucks or anything, which is safer for the children. We spend a lot of time just teaching the basics like the alphabet and counting. It takes a lot of patience to work with this age group every day. The staff here are mostly local people from around Chengalpattu. We know the neighbors. Sometimes the kids cry when they first start, but they get used to it after a week or two. We have a small area for them to play safely during their breaks. It’s a humble place. We don't have fancy air conditioning or anything like that, just some fans and open windows to let the air in. The humidity in this part of the country can be a lot, but we manage. We just focus on the children and making sure they are safe while they are here. It’s a long day from start to finish. We've been at this address for some time now and it suits our needs just fine.
