Bees' Pre School

We are located at No 18 on JN Road in the Oilmil area of Tiruvallur. Being a pre-school, things are naturally a bit more chaotic here than in a regular school. We have small chairs, colorful mats, and plenty of toys scattered around the rooms. The building isn't very big, but it’s enough for the little ones to run around a bit. It gets quite loud in the mornings when the parents are dropping off their toddlers. Some cry, some are excited, and we just try to get everyone settled in. We don't have a big corporate team behind us. It’s just a few of us who look after the kids and teach them basic things like rhymes and colors. The walls are covered in messy finger paintings and paper cut-outs. It isn't a pristine environment because kids are naturally messy. We have a small outdoor area where they can play for a bit if the weather isn't too hot. Most of the families live nearby in the Oilmil area, so we see the same faces every day at the gate. We don't use any fancy educational jargon. We just look after the children while their parents are at work. The day ends early for us, usually by the afternoon, once all the kids have been picked up. It’s a simple, honest job, and we enjoy the noise and the energy most of the time.
