Cocoonz Preschool

You’ll find us at 64, Akshaya Homes Main Road, right here in Singaperumalkoil. It’s a fairly easy spot to get to, which helps parents when they’re dropping off their little ones in the morning. Cocoonz Preschool is a small operation. We basically took a regular space and turned it into a place where kids can spend their day. There are a lot of toys scattered around and we have those soft mats on the floor because toddlers tend to trip over their own feet. It’s not a silent place, that’s for sure. There is always someone singing or crying or laughing. We have a small yard where they can get some sun when the weather is nice. The walls have lots of finger paintings and alphabet charts stuck up with tape. Our staff are mostly local women who are used to the chaos of small children. We don’t have a big corporate manual or anything; we just look after the kids and make sure they learn their ABCs and how to share. Sometimes a kid spills their juice or forgets their bag, but we just deal with it. It’s a bit messy at times, but that’s just how it goes with preschool. We like being part of the Akshaya Homes neighborhood. It feels like a small community where everyone is just trying to do their best for their kids. The days go by fast when you are surrounded by so much energy and noise.
