It’s a quiet residential neighborhood, so we try to be mindful of our neighbors, even though keeping a group of nursery and primary kids quiet is almost impossible. The school is a modest building that fits right into the street. We have a small gate where parents gather in the mornings and afternoons to drop off and pick up their children. The 602002 area is quite peaceful, and we like that our students have a calm environment to learn in. Inside, the classrooms are filled with the usual school stuff—wooden benches, cupboards for books, and student projects pinned to the walls. We have a small staff of teachers who have been with us for a while, and we all know the kids' names and which ones are likely to cause a bit of trouble in class. Lunchtime is always the busiest part of the day, with the smell of home-cooked food filling the hallway as the kids open their tiffin boxes. We don't have a huge playground, but there's enough space for the little ones to play some games. It’s a very local, down-to-earth kind of place. We aren't a big corporate chain; we’re just a small school in Melnallathur doing our best to teach the kids their basics every single day.
