Agni College

Agni College is located right on the OMR in Navalur. This part of Chennai has become very modern, with big glass buildings and IT offices everywhere you look. Our place feels a bit more grounded than all that. We’ve been on this stretch of road for a long time, even before the area got so crowded. Traffic on OMR is quite a challenge, so most of us end up getting here very early in the morning. The building itself is simple and focuses on function. Most of the day is spent in the classrooms or the staff room trying to stay on top of the usual paperwork. It gets very hot in Chennai, so the fans are always running. You won't find fancy gardens or a big cafeteria here, just a solid building where we get our work done. Many of our staff members are from around Tamil Nadu and have been with us for years. It’s strange to see how much the neighborhood has changed, but our daily tasks stay mostly the same. There’s a small tea stall just outside where we usually go when we need a short break. Being the most famous college isn't our goal. We just want to make sure the students have what they need and classes run on time. It’s a busy life in this part of town, but we just stick to our routine and keep things moving.
