Quality Assurance

We work out of the Madura Garments Exports building, specifically at 14/2 on Basvanapur B M Road. We’re situated near Ramanagaram in Karnataka. This area is very well known for its silk and industries, and we fit right into that local landscape. Our focus is quality assurance for the garments that get shipped out. It’s a big facility, and it can be quite loud with all the machinery and activity going on around us throughout the shift. We spend most of our day on the factory floor or at the inspection tables checking seams and buttons. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit; it’s more about being practical and getting your hands on the fabric to see how it feels. The B M Road is usually very busy with trucks and buses, so getting in and out of the gate can take a bit of patience and timing. We’ve been here at this Basvanapur spot for a good while now. The weather in Ramanagaram is usually okay, but the dusty roads can be a bit much in the dry season when the wind picks up. We just do our checks, look for any small flaws, and make sure the export stuff is ready to go out. It’s a straightforward operation with no frills. We don't have any fancy brochures about ourselves or what we do. We just show up, do the daily inspections, and go home to our families. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve all gotten used to over the many years we've been here.
