Our factory is located at Plot No. B11 in Bashettyhalti, which is part of the KIADB Industrial Area in Doddaballapura. It’s quite a drive out from Bangalore city, but it’s much quieter out here, which we mostly appreciate. The area is filled with large industrial plots and wide roads that are usually empty except for the shift change times. Omni Matrix has been here for a while. The building is a large, open shed where most of the work happens. It’s got high ceilings and can get a bit chilly in the early mornings before the machines start warming up the place. We have a decent-sized team here. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles in our office space; it’s mostly just functional desks and a couple of meeting rooms that we don't use all that often. Most of the real conversations happen on the shop floor anyway. We take our breaks together and usually talk about the commute or the local weather. There isn't much around here in terms of shops, so most of us bring our own lunch from home. It’s a steady environment where everyone knows what they need to do. We don't go for flashy stuff. We just focus on the manufacturing and making sure the quality is what it needs to be before anything leaves the gate. It is a no-frills place where we put in the hours and then head back home.
