Uttam Sweet

We are located at SCO-65 in Sector 46C. Uttam Sweet is a place where we spend most of our time standing behind the glass counters or working in the kitchen area. It’s a decent sized shop and we try to keep the display looking full with all the different varieties we make. The weekends are always the craziest time for us because families come out to get things for their dinners or for visitors. We have a few guys working in the back who handle the frying and the syrup, and they have been with us for years. It gets really busy during festival seasons, sometimes we hardly have time to sit down or eat our own lunch. We don't use any fancy systems, just a basic way of doing things that has worked for us. Sector 46 is a good spot because there are always people around. Sometimes we have to deal with grumpy customers or long lines, but we just try to get through it as best as we can. We don't pretend to be some big corporate chain. We are just a local sweet shop where we know the smells of the cardamom and sugar every day. It’s hard work keeping everything fresh and making sure the shop stays clean, but we take it one day at a time. It’s just how we run the business here.
