Lal Caterers & Sweets

You can find us at SCO-172 in Sector 37 C. Lal Caterers & Sweets is a name that’s been around this neighborhood for quite a while. We do the food for events but we also have the sweets side of things, which keeps the shop smelling like sugar and ghee most of the time. It’s a busy corner of the sector. We don't have a polished marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures. It’s just us behind the counter or in the kitchen. In the mornings, we are usually checking the milk deliveries or prep work for the day’s batches of sweets. The catering side involves a lot of heavy lifting, getting the big burners and the serving tables into the trucks. It’s noisy and there’s always someone shouting directions, but that’s just how we get things done. We don't try to act like a big five-star hotel. We are just a local place where people come when they need a lot of food for a party or some boxes of sweets for a festival. Sometimes we run out of things or the traffic in 37 makes the deliveries slow, but we try our best to stay on schedule. It’s a simple operation, really. We’ve seen the kids who used to come in for a single piece of barfi grow up and now they come to us for their own wedding catering. We just keep the stoves going.
