Friends Snacks Corner

Our snacks corner is located at Shop No-25 in Sector 45, Chandigarh. We are right in the middle of Burail, which is a very crowded and lively part of the city. The shop is quite small, so there isn't much room for people to sit down. Most of our customers just stand near the counter or take their food to go. We’ve been in this exact spot for several years now. We didn't have much money when we started, so the shop is very simple. We have a big stove and a counter that has some scratches on it. Burail is always full of noise and people, and we are right in the thick of it. We mainly serve quick snacks that people can eat on their way to work or home. We know a lot of the residents in Sector 45 by their first names. It’s a busy life and we are on our feet all day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use candles, which makes it hard to see what we are doing. We don't have any fancy advertising. People just know we are here because they walk past us every day. We do our own cleaning every night after we close the shutters. It’s a lot of work for a small shop, but it is our own business. We like the independence it gives us. Just a regular corner shop for the neighborhood.
