The New (India) Assurance Company Ltd

Our office is located at 58 Sector 17 on the Double Road, which is usually packed with cars and scooters throughout the day. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know how loud the traffic gets. Inside, though, things at The New (India) Assurance Company Ltd feel a bit more settled. There are stacks of files on almost every surface and the desks have those old-fashioned green blotters. We spend a lot of time looking out the windows at the trees lining the Double Road. It’s a steady kind of life here. Someone is always brewing a pot of tea in the back, and the sound of keyboards tapping fills the rooms. We’ve been at this address in Sector 17 for a long time. The building itself has that solid, older feel to it, with thick walls that keep it relatively cool even when it’s baking outside. We don’t have any of those modern glass walls or flashy signs. It’s just a place where we come to do our jobs every day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which gives everyone a few minutes to stretch their legs. The street outside is always changing, with new shops opening and closing, but we’re still here at number 58. It’s a practical space for practical work, and that’s really all there is to say about it.
