We are based in Bangalore, specifically in Jayanagar 2nd Block. Our office is on the 4th floor of numbers 50-51 in Sector 34. It is a nice enough area with plenty of trees around, which is typical for Jayanagar. Being on the fourth floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below. At Apollo Munich Health Insurance Company Ltd, we spend most of our time dealing with health insurance claims and talking to people about their medical coverage. It can be quite a serious job sometimes because people are often calling us when they are going through a tough time. We try to be as helpful as we can without all the corporate jargon. The office is usually humming with the sound of phones and printers. It is not a huge place, just a regular floor in a commercial building. I usually take my lunch break at one of the small darshinis nearby. The traffic in Bangalore can be a nightmare, so most of us are relieved once we actually get to our desks in the morning. We have a small pantry where we make coffee and chat for a few minutes. It is a steady environment and we have been here in this block for quite a few years now. Most of the staff live nearby, so there is a real local feel to the place. We just focus on the daily tasks and keeping the paperwork moving through the system.
