Star Shine Event Organiser

Star Shine Event Organiser is based out of Sector 41, over on Kazi Sayed Stn 33. It’s a fairly quiet spot most of the time which is good when we have to concentrate on logistics. We handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into making an event happen. Most people don’t realize how much time is spent just talking to different suppliers or double-checking that the decorations are the right color. I spend a lot of my morning just going through emails and making sure our schedules align with the people we hire for tents and sound systems. We’ve been in this part of town for a good while and we know the local area quite well. If you come by the office, you’ll see we don’t have much in the way of decoration ourselves because we’re usually too busy working on other people’s setups. It’s a straightforward operation. We take the information someone gives us and we try to map out how it’s going to work on the ground. Sometimes things change at the last minute and we have to scramble to fix it, but that’s just the way organizing events goes. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the job that needs doing. It’s a lot of physical work and being on your feet for hours, but we’re used to it by now and we don't mind the long days at all as long as the work gets finished.
