About Agarwal Tent Services – Event & Planning in Chandigarh
This place in Sector 29 D is where we keep all the heavy stuff. It is mostly just stacks of folded canvas, long metal poles, and those plastic chairs that always seem to get dirty no matter how much you wipe them. Running a tent business is mostly just lifting heavy things into trucks and then unloading them again a few hours later. It’s hard work on the back, especially when it’s raining and everything gets twice as heavy because of the water. We spend a lot of time checking if the fabric has any holes or if the ropes are starting to fray. The office part of SCO 52 is small, usually just someone sitting there with a ledger book and a phone that doesn't stop ringing during the wedding season. It gets really chaotic around here in the winter months when everyone wants to have their parties at the same time. We have a few old fans that barely move the air in the warehouse, but we stay busy regardless. Sometimes a customer comes in wanting a specific color that we haven't seen in years, and we have to go digging through the back piles to find it. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we started, but the work of putting up a shelter for people hasn't changed much at all. It’s just about getting the poles straight and making sure the ground is level enough for the tables.
