Nirmal Tent Service

We are located over in Sector 32 D, right at Chandigarh 78. Nirmal Tent Service is basically what it says on the sign. We spend our days dealing with a lot of heavy fabric, long metal poles, and stacks of chairs. It is physical work and it keeps us tired, but it’s good to be out and about. When someone has a wedding or a small function nearby, they usually come find us. We load up the rickshaw or the small truck with everything needed. Sometimes the tents are colorful, other times they’re just plain white. It depends on what the family wants. The storage space here in Sector 32 gets pretty packed, especially during the busy season when everyone is getting married at once. We’re constantly folding things or checking for tears in the cloth. My hands are usually a bit rough from handling the ropes and the iron frames all day long. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the structures stand up straight and don't blow over if the wind picks up. Chandigarh weather can be unpredictable, so we’ve learned to tie things down tight. People know us for being around when they need extra seating or a roof over their party. We don't make a big fuss about it. We just show up, set the stuff up, and come back to take it down later.
