We are over here in Mubarakpur Camp, right near the Dusshehra Ground in Chandigarh. Most people around here know where that is. We do the light and DJ work for weddings and parties. It’s just what we do. It started out with a few speakers and some lights, and now we have a whole setup ready to go whenever someone has a function. The work gets busy, especially during the wedding season, but we manage. We aren't some big fancy company with a huge office, just local people working hard. We spend a lot of time checking the wires and making sure the lights work before we head out. You’ll usually find us at the shop testing things out. If you walk by the Dusshehra Ground, you’re close to us. My cousin helps out, and we have a few guys who come when the events are big. It is noisy work, but seeing people dance makes it alright. Sometimes the weather is hot, and moving the heavy speakers is a lot, but we’re used to it by now. We just try to get everything set up on time so the party can start. There isn't much more to it than that. We just keep the equipment in good shape and show up where we are needed. It’s a simple business, and we like being part of the local celebrations in Chandigarh. We've been around here for quite a while now, and we plan to stay.
