Snackstime Private Limited

Snackstime is located at Plot No. 256 in the Industrial Area Phase-1 of Chandigarh. Being in the industrial zone means it’s pretty loud around here with all the trucks and other factories nearby. Our place is usually buzzing with the sound of the packaging machines. We spend a lot of time making sure the snacks are fried just right and the seasoning is even. It’s a lot of heat in the kitchen area, especially during the summer months when the Chandigarh sun hits the roof. We have a small crew of people who have been with us for a while. We don't really do the whole corporate meeting thing; we just talk over the noise of the machines and get the work done. The floor is concrete and the walls are just plain, because we care more about what’s going into the bags than what the building looks like. There’s usually a pile of cardboard boxes in the corner waiting to be filled. We have to be careful with the oil and the spices because they can get messy if you aren't paying attention. It’s a regular job for us. We show up, make the snacks, pack them into the crates, and load them onto the vans. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we do here in Phase-1. We just try to keep the machines running and the snacks moving out the door.
