Sachkhand Flower Decorators

Sachkhand Flower Decorators is located at 1519 on the Aundh Hinjwadi Road in Sector 11. If you know that road, you know it gets incredibly busy with all the IT folks and commuters. Our shop is a bit of a contrast to all that traffic. It usually smells like crushed stems and marigolds. We spend a lot of our time cutting thorns off roses or weaving garlands for some event. The floor is almost always wet from the buckets of water we keep the flowers in. It’s a messy business, honestly. There are leaves and bits of string everywhere by noon. We don't have a big air-conditioned showroom; it’s mostly just us working in the back or loading the van out front. We start really early, usually before the sun is even up, to get the freshest stuff from the market. Then it’s a rush to get everything ready for weddings or parties. Sometimes we’re still tying ribbons on a car at midnight. It’s tiring, and your hands end up getting stained and calloused from all the sap and wire. We just focus on getting the arrangements done so they look right for whatever function is happening. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it a long time here in Sector 11. We just keep our heads down and keep the flowers moving to where they need to go for the day.
