Rohal Paliwal

Working with Rohal Paliwal at 113 Sector 40 is pretty straightforward. The office is on the ground floor, so it’s easy for people to just walk in off the street. We have a couple of old computers that take a few minutes to warm up in the morning. Rohal usually brings in some snacks to share, which is the highlight of the day sometimes. Sector 40 is a busy area, so there is always someone parked outside or delivery bikes zooming past. Inside, we just focus on the tasks at hand. There’s a stack of ledgers that we’re slowly moving into the computer system, but it’s taking forever. My chair squeaks every time I move, but I’ve gotten used to the sound. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People find out about us from word of mouth mostly. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it stays silent for hours. We use that quiet time to catch up on the cleaning or sort through the mail. It’s just a basic office setup where we try to stay on top of everything without making too much of a fuss. The walls are mostly bare except for a small picture of the mountains that Rohal put up. It’s a decent place to spend the day and get things done, and we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home.
