Rk Confectionery

Our shop, Rk Confectionery, is tucked away in Shiv Market at Sector 40, shop number 3. It is a typical market shop where you can find almost any small thing you need. I have been running this place for a long time now. The mornings are for restocking the shelves and making sure the cold drinks are front and center in the fridge. It’s a small shop, so I have to be careful about how I stack the boxes so I don't run out of room. I see a lot of kids from the nearby houses who come in for a single piece of gum or a small packet of chips. Then you have the adults who stop by for eggs, bread, or cigarettes on their way home. I don't have any helpers, so I handle everything from the cleaning to the accounts myself. It can get a bit lonely sometimes, but I usually have someone to chat with from the other shops in the market. The weather affects us a lot; when it rains, the market gets quiet, and when it’s hot, everyone wants cold water. I don't have any big plans to expand or anything, I just like my little corner here in Sector 40. It is a steady life, and I know exactly what to expect every day when I open the locks. We just keep things simple and practical here.
