I work out of 590 Sector 46, specifically in the Botwala Chawl. My name is Ravinder, and this has been my base for a long time. The chawl is a lively place to be, with kids playing in the hallways and neighbors chatting over the balconies. It can get quite loud, but I’ve grown to enjoy the sound of the community around me. My office is small, just one room really, but it’s enough for what I need to do. I have a small desk and a shelf for my supplies. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but they’ve seen a lot of history and I don't mind the worn look. Living and working in Sector 46 means I don't have a long commute, which is a big plus. I know most of the people who live in the Botwala Chawl, and they know me. If someone has a problem, they usually just knock on the door and ask for Ravinder. I don't have a big corporate sign or a secretary out front. It's just me. I spend my days handling various tasks and making sure everything is in order. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is humid, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I don't go in for fancy talk or big promises. I just do what needs doing and try to stay on top of things. It’s a simple life, and I’m okay with that. It is just a small room in a big building.
