Living and working out of 2333/2 Sector 45 in Wahab Chawl means things are always a bit crowded and loud, but it’s home. I started doing this work because it was what I knew, and over the years, the neighbors have just started coming to me when they need things sorted out. The space is small and I have a lot of my tools and supplies stacked up against the walls, which makes it a bit tight when more than one person stops by. Sector 45 is a lively place and there is always someone walking by the door or sticking their head in to say hello. I spend a lot of my mornings just getting organized and making sure I have what I need for the day’s tasks. Sometimes the electricity goes out or it gets too hot to work comfortably, but you just find a way to keep moving. It’s not a big corporate operation, it’s just me, Ram Sumer Verma, taking care of the business that comes my way. I don't spend much time on fancy things; I’d rather just get the job finished so I can sit outside for a bit in the evening. People know where to find me if they have a question, and that’s usually enough. The Wahab Chawl area has changed a bit over the years, but my spot stays pretty much the same.
